The All Progressive Congress (APC) 2019 Governorship aspirant, Chief Barrister F.N Nwosu has responded to allegation of breach of Peace in his Mgboko Umuoria Community in Obingwa LGA in Abia State .

In a letter addressed to the Governor of Abia State  and made available to AFNEWS, the traditional ruler of Mgboko Oria Efula Autonomous Community, Eze Ngozi Mathias Nwoko accused Chief F.N Nwosu of sponsoring thugs headed by one Chamberlain Ezeama to make Mgboko Umuoria community chaotic and ungovernable, the traditional ruler further accused the APC chieftain of attempting to form a parallel government in the community.

According to the traditional ruler,  trouble started in the community, after Chief F.N Nwosu failed attempt to forcefully deliver votes for his party APC in the eve of the 2019 general after the community rejected his party.The monarch stated that ever since then Chief F.N Nwosu has been fermenting one trouble after another in the community through his hired thugs headed by Chamberlain Ezeama.

However,in a swift reaction to this allegation sent to AFNEWS ,Chief F.N Nwosu described the accusations leveled against him by Eze Mathias Nwoko as been baseless.According to the APC chieftain, he has always maintained a cordial relationship with the monarch, he said he wonders why the traditional ruler will concoct such allegation against him .

Chief Nwosu stated that whatever money HRH Eze Ngozi Matthias Nwoko reportedly said that he spent is his usual and humble way of reaching out to his people whenever his around which he said the Eze knows too well and that the Eze and family have benefited is not political.

Barr F.N Nwosu went on to state that since the past 10 years or more ,he has always killed cow and distributed along other food items to his community people of Mgboko Umuoria and several other people in Abia State and Eze Ngozi Matthias Nwoko and family have also benefited. Chief Nwosu said he has no quarrel with Eze Ngozi Matthias Nwoko at all.

The Obingwa born politician said that,the only time he spoke with the monarch of recent was in June or July when the traditional ruler called him and reported that the shop or house of one Mr Chidiebere John Uzoaru was knocked down and after asking him what happened and listening to his responses, he said he advised Eze Mathias Nwoko to please rebuild the young man’s house.He stated that he was also informed that the Chairman of Obingwa LGA Traditional Rulers Council HRM Eze O J Ananaba and others mandated Eze Ngozi Matthias Nwoko to go and rebuild the young man’s house.

Chief Nwosu emphasized that In the petition written by the monarch ,the traditional ruler failed to specify any accusation against him. He said Eze Mathias Nwoko was been evasive and did not accused any person of anything. He believes this is a plot to confuse people and of course escape responsibility or liability should he be called to answer for that write up.

On the issue of seizing the community gong,Chief Nwosu said, since 1983 when he left the village he does not know who holds the community gong. He said he has not seen it. He wondered how the Eze will accuse him of seizing and using same to summon the community for what purpose .He queried what will the community will be doing for him in Abuja where he has been all these while.

In the first place I did not commit or procure, counsel or in any way aid any person or persons to commit all or any of the offences stated in the heading and or body of the petition of HRH Eze Ngozi Matthias Nwoko to His Excellency Governor Okezie Ikpeazu PHD. Infact since March 2015 after voting for the elections I have remained in Abuja till June 2018 when I came home and participated in the APC Governorship Primary election which I lost. Thereafter I did not show any bitterness or begrudge any person at all. I voted in the General Elections in 2019 and also did not begrudge any person for voting anywhere because I know that our townsman Gov Okezie Ikpeazu PHD was in the race and I was not. Whatever my money HRH Eze Ngozi Matthias Nwoko alleged that I spent is my usual and humble way of reaching out to my people whenever I am around which the Eze knows too well and has always benefitted from me both himself and family. After Government closed down movements because of the Covid 19 in March I bought and distributed food items and money to my Mgboko Umuoria community and other places and persons in Abia State in April and HRH Eze Ngozi Matthias Nwoko and his family got shares of food and money befitting his status and also his family God knows and the people who conveyed those items to him also know. I have not quarrelled with Eze Ngozi Matthias Nwoko at all. Again he alleged he is being accused of embezzling N18,000,000.00 electricity bill of the community, I hope you journalists will ask him what the true position is. Why N18 Million and not N1 million or N20 Million or N15 0,000.00 what is the true position. Is his petition to the Governor designed to find out the truth of which I will be interested to know and hear what really happened? I’m not accusing him as I don’t have any information on the electricity bill embezzlement but if my community people were paying for the electricity bill and anybody was embezzling same I believe such person has done wrong and committed a crime worth investigating. I have not been at home since 2015 as I used to be when I was running around for political activities. Again since 1983 when I left the village I don’t know who holds the community gong. I have not seen it. How the can Eze Ngozi Matthias Nwoko accuse me of seizing and using same to summon the community for what purpose and what will the community be doing for me in Abuja where I have been all these while. Again having written the petition to the Government and Governor of Abia State why does he want to carry his grievance to the press. Is it that the Governor did not treat his case well? I believe that Journalists in the olden days use to ask questions. Please the press people should also ask questions and publish their findings. God bless the press people.
