The People’s Democratic Party officially handed over campaign flags to not less than 24 House of Assembly  candidates to kick-start their campaigns fully for the general elections this year.

The handover of flags took place at the International Conference Centre(ICC) in Umuahia. The Executive Governor of Abia state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, his Deputy Rt. Hon. Ude Okochukwu and all officials of PDP were present at the venue.

When the PDP Chairman, Chief Johnson Onuigbo was asked how confident he is about the candidates winning the election in the state, he said “We are very confident following the massive number of Abians who have come out today to support us. That is why we are giving them this flag today, to hit the ground running, we are 100% confident” he concluded.
