29th Anniversary: Abia Has Made Progress With Ikpeazu – Lucky Johnson

Abia born philanthropist Sir Lucky Udoka Nweke Johnson believes that Abia state has made progress in the past 29 years of existence, but also insisted that more work is needed to move the state to a higher destination.

The business Mogul who hails from Isuikwuato Local Government Area made the disclosure while speaking with AFNEWS on his opinion concerning the 29th Abia day anniversary celebration and how far the state has gone.

According to Sir Lucky ” We have to first be grateful to God for creating Abia State and preserving the state. They are so many states in Nigeria where we hear news of killings, bandits and other criminal activities everyday, but Abia seems to be relatively safe and peaceful”.

“It is also important for us to thank God for enabling us celebrate this anniversary today despite the Coronavirus pandemic that befall the world. I specially thank God for the live of our Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu who battled with COVID-19, but now he is sound and healthy”.

” I will also want to use this privilege to felicitate with the Executive Governor of Abia State Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu for allowing God to use him champion the steady progress which the state has recorded infrastructural wise over the last 5 years . It is certainly laudable when compared with the little resources coming to the state ”

” Indeed Abia has made progress and is still making progress all thanks to the diligent and hardworking chief executive officer of the state Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu who has remain dogged in his resolve to change the narrative in the state. This is evident in the numerous capital project already executed and being commissioned by the government of Abia State ”

” But as far as we have made progress, may I also state that it is not yet time to relax especially at a time when we have a Governor who is wholeheartedly committed to changing the narrative in the state. We have to keep moving . Slow but steady and eventually we will establish the Abia of our dream. I therefore want to use the medium to enjoin all Abians to continue to support the administration of Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu “
