Popular musician David Adeleke aka Davido has revealed why his French teacher told him he would never make it in life.

He recalled that as a young school kid, his French teacher once told him he would not succeed.

Davido spoke on the “30 Billion Gang” episode of the “Tee with Tay” podcast.

The DMW boss had a deep conversation with Taymesan, the host.

The “E Choke” crooner said:  “Life is fast, I have been doing this continuously since I was 16 years old.

“Of course, I have had to cry, not even about losing my friends alone. I cry about different situations. It comes and goes.

“On my birthday, I cried. I know how bad my grades were.

“In school, I was like the most unlikely to succeed type of student.

“In secondary school, my French teacher told me I won’t be anything in this life. I won’t lie I was a bad kid with good intentions”.
