Inem while speaking to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER (AFNEWS) immediately after he was sworn in as the governor’s aide at the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Local Government Affairs complex in Umuahia, regretted that industries which were constructed decades ago, have been left moribund. He however assured that  the moribund industries would be revived and new ones set up in sync with modern technology and trade.

Inem hinted that efforts are being made to bring in foreign investors into Abia state, to give the state a new economic facelift.

“I feel a little bit fulfilled that we are taking up an assignment that we have been preaching that the past government have not been getting it right, the economic situation and the general atmosphere has not been right. We are bringing in better economic atmosphere in Abia state”.

“We will revive moribund industries and build new industries that will be in sync with modern technology and trade.

“Past leaders kept us behind; we are bringing the people to be on board of what is happening outside the world” Inem said.
