UNICAL Replaces Dean Suspended Over Alleged Sexu-al Harassment | READ MORE

Dr. Rose Ugbe has been appointed as the Acting Dean, Faculty of Law, in the University of Calabar (UNICAL) following the suspension of Prof. Cyril Ndifon who is accused on sex-ually harassing female students.

Ugbe’s appointment was approved by the Vice Chancellor of UNICAL, Prof. Florence Obi, and takes effect from August 22, 2023 according to a statement released by Mr Gabriel Egbe, the Registrar of the varsity.

Meanwhile, a seven-man panel had already been set up to look into the allegations levelled against Prof. Ndifon.
