UDE OKO CHUKWU FELICITATE WITH CHRISTIANS ON EASTER

As Christians in Abia State joined their counterparts all over the world to celebrate Easter, the state deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has solicited their support and collaboration in the state government efforts to sustain peace, security and development of the state for the common good of all.

In his Easter Message to Abians, Sir oko Chukwu described the Easter season as a good time to nurture our relationship with God and enjoy the joy and power that comes with the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He urged Christians and Nigerians to sustain their believe in Jesus Christ and tap into the power and life He made available to us every moment of day and continue the mission of sharing His love with others.

The Deputy Governor noted that the resurrection of Jesus Christ holds the message of hope for all and enjoined Christians and indeed Nigerians to embrace peace, unity and good neighbourliness and pray for the speedy resolution of the unprecedented festering problems of general insecurity bedevilling the Nigerian Nation.

Sir Oko Chukwu used the opportunity to call on religious leaders and all those in positions of authority to see the urgent need for unity of purpose, direction and action in order to tackle the multifaceted challenges confronting our nation and pave the way for the desired advancement of Nigeria in the comity of nations.

Sir Oko Chukwu while wishing Abia Christians in particular a peaceful and happy Easter celebration, he expressed optimism that the spiritual essence of the Easter season would continue to impact positively on the political, socio-economic and ethno religious fabrics of Abia State in particular and Nigeria in general.
