Otti Suspends Head Of Service, Permanent Secretaries, Name Replacements | READ DETAILS

The Executive governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, has suspended Sir Onyii Wamah as the Head of Service in the state and all Permanent Secretaries in the State civil service.

According to a statement signed by Mr Kazie Uko, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, the Clerk of the Abia State House of Assembly, Mr John-Pedro Irokansi and the Solicitor General, Mrs U.G. Uche Ikonne, are not included in the suspension.

Their suspension followed the governor’s inauguration of the Judicial Panel of Inquiry on the Recovery of Properties and Funds belonging to Abia State Government.

Meanwhile, governor Alex Otti, has approved the appointment of Lady Joy Maduka, Director, Ministry of Education, as Acting Head of Service (HOS).

The suspended persons are directed to hand over to the most senior Director in their respective Ministries, Departments and Agencies with immediate effect.
