Okonjo-Iwela Makes Forbes’ 100 Most Powerful Women’s list For The 7th Time | READ DETAILS

The First woman and African to lead the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has for the seventh time, been listed on Forbes’ 100 Most Powerful Women list.

According to Forbes’ 20th annual ranking released on Tuesday, the Nigerian economist held the 87th spot, while Nigerian media mogul and philanthropist, Mo Abudu made the 98th spot.

According to Forbes, a US Business magazine, the list was compiled using money, media, impact, and spheres of influence.

Reacting, Okonjo-Iweala wrote on X;

“Feel truly honoured to be named one more time as one of the Forbes 100 Most Powerful Women in the World.

“This will be the 7th time, starting in 2011. Congratulations to all the women on this list, working hard to make a difference and, to others working hard to change the world even if they are not on the list.
