The member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency Honorable Chief Amobi Godwin Ogah, has described as fake news publications which said he admonished the Labour Party Presidential Candidate Mr. Peter Obi to accept defeat as a will of God.

 

In disclaimer that was made available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER, the honorable member posited that his advice was to other candidates that contested against him in his federal constituency in the last election.

 

Amobi went further to advise the public to ignore the fake news.

The attention of the member representing the good people of Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi federal constituency Hon Amobi Godwin Ogah has been drawn to the misleading publications of some media houses & blogs misquoting the honourable member on an interview session during his Election Victory church thanksgiving Service” That he admonished Peter Obi and Labour party to accept defeat as will of God”

 

Given this unwholesome publication, Hon Amobi Ogah wishes to make it abundantly clear to the public that What He said “.. that those candidates like APC -Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha & others who contested Election with him in his federal Constituency should accept defeat, that his Election Victory is the will of God, that if they didn’t win today, they will win tomorrow. He further said that the time of Election has come and gone, now it’s time for good governance and delivery of Democracy dividends to his people.”  Notably, Hon Amobi Ogah never mentioned Peter Obi or LP. He is not in any way against Peter Obi and his Dear party who gave him platform to win Election.

Finally, He advised his great supporters and electorates in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal Constituency to ignore fake News trending on social media as this constitutes unnecessary distractions. He urge them to remain calm, peaceful and focus on great expectations as he promised.

 

Members of the public should therefore ignore the online publication and report.
