The Commissioner for Information and Strategy Abia State, Honorable Eze Chikamnayo has said that Sir Chikwe Udensi is not a security expert rather an irrelevant politician.
The Commissioner gave this description while fielding questions from journalists during a press conference in Umuahia on Wednesday.
Recall that Udensi a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), an Interpol consultant/ security expert, had volunteered to give Abia pensioners financial support to help alleviate their pain owing to non payment of pension.
Udensi who mandated Chinedu Obilor Iyierioba to collate the data of Abia pensioners claimed that authorities in charge of the information, refused to oblige the request of releasing it.
However, the security expert have been able to capture pensioners in four local government areas of the state without the official data.
Reacting to the true position of the state on this, Chikamanayo said;
“ I want to say it here clearly that Chikwe Udensi is not a security expert. He may be a gateman, he may be a Mallam, but he is not a security expert; that is impersonation, he has no certificate to that effect and if he has, let him produce it; am a lawyer, you don’t come to me and make all manner of claims. So if he said so tell him that I said he is not a security expert but he may be selling cell phone and all these walkie-talkie that can be sold at Ariara.”
Chikamnayo said Udensi at no time made a written request for the pensioners list, therefore it cannot be ascertained who he has been communicating with.
When asked of the reconstruction of Ariaria International market, the Commissioner said;
“Ariaria is getting attention and you know that construction requires going through a process; that process is on going…
“allow the process to go through- the Honorable Commissioner for trade and investment has given deadline and he is walking round the clock with his team; and you remember that when they demolished; for them to have evacuated a lot of debris during the rains is a lot of achievement.”
