In this letter attached below, former Nigerian Senate President and former Secretary to the federation Senator Anyim Pius Anyim gave an insight into why he actively supported the All Progressive Congress (APC) during the gubernatorial election in Ebonyi State against his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate.

Anyim revealed that the PDP refused to adhere to the zoning arrangement in the State, but instead went ahead to give gubernatorial ticket to a candidate that is from the same zone with the president governor of Ebonyi State.

Recall that Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru of the APC, won the Ebonyi State gubernatorial election with 199,131 and the PDP candidate Ifeanyi Odii coming second with 80,191.
