During a media parley on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, Otti stated that he stopped the state government from getting access to the loan because “they falsified documents, did not consult the Abia state House of Assembly, neither have the state government being able to account for federal allocations they had received.

He went further to state that all Abians must be aware that they are equal stakeholders in this state, based on that everyone should be concerned about what is happening in the state.
