Based on a press release made available to AFNEWS and signed by Abia State Commissioner for Trade and Investment Rt. Hon. Cosmos Ndukwe Ph.D , the government have uncovered plans by a group of hoodlums who intend to hide under the guise of protest to raze markets in Abia.

The release further reveals that these persons have formed themselves into large groups of 200 and advancing to target markets, particularly Ariaria; with the purpose of setting them ablaze

Market Management Committee Members and security agencies are by this report put on notice to muster the minutest support they can, to avert this proposed heinous crime.

“We cannot afford to record more loses, as so far, we have crossed the threshold of crimes against humanity, markets belongs to all and as it stands they have used the faulks road divide to block samek junction leading into ariaria”. he said.
