UMUAHIA, ABIA STATE – The Abia State Government’s second quarter Executive Council Retreat ended on a high note as Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, the Liaison Officer to the National Assembly, hailed Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, for his bold, visionary, and people-centered leadership.
Held at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia, the two-day strategic retreat themed “Sustaining Momentum: Leadership in Motion”, brought together top government officials, commissioners, advisers, and technocrats to deepen synergy, align governance goals, and reposition Abia State for accelerated development.
Speaking after the retreat, Hon. Chinasa, who plays a critical role in bridging Abia’s interests at the federal level, described the initiative as a “timely and visionary masterstroke” by Governor Otti, who has continued to raise the bar of public service delivery in Nigeria’s democratic space.
“This retreat is a strong signal that Governor Otti’s administration is not just working — it is moving with purpose, precision, and performance,” Hon. Frank Chinasa declared.
According to him, the retreat served as a blueprint for excellence, empowering political appointees with strategic direction, renewed energy, and the practical tools needed to drive the “New Abia Vision” across all sectors.
Frank Chinasa praised the quality of discussions, technical sessions, and team-building exercises, which he said were highly impactful, resulting in a renewed sense of unity among appointees and a firmer commitment to deliver on the Governor’s promises to Abians.
“The success of this retreat is visible in the mindset shift among participants. There’s clarity of vision, unity of purpose, and an inspiring leadership at the helm,” he said.
Hon. Frank Chinasa emphasized the importance of continuous collaboration between the state and the federal legislature, pledging to use his platform in the National Assembly to advance Abia’s interests in line with Dr. Otti’s people-driven agenda.
