(BREAKING) 24-HOURS RECTOR: Ikpeazu Withdraws Appointment Of Nwamuo Kingsley | READ WHY
Barely 24-hours of appointing Dr. Nwamuo Alozie Kingsley as the Acting Rector, Abia College of Health Sciences and Management Technology Aba, the Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has withdrawn the former’s appointment.
ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER had reported that the governor on Sunday evening, approved Kingsley to replace Professor Chigbu Lawrence who was suspended as Rector of the College. READ HERE
However, another press statement released on Tuesday, March 14, by Barrister Chris Ezem, Secretary to Abia State Government, said Dr. Nwamuo Alozie Kingsley’s appointment as Acting Rector of the College of Health has been withdrawn.
According to the statement, the withdrawal of his appointment borders on “security report surrounding his appointment.”
The Governor further directed the appointment of the Head of Department of Public Health, Ezeakolam Nwaogwugwu as the Acting Rector of the college.
The statement read;
The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has approved the immediate withdrawal of the appointment of Dr. Nwamuo Alozie Kingsley as the Acting Rector, Abia College of Health Sciences and Management Technology Aba. This is in view of subsisting security report surrounding his appointment.
The Governor further directs the appointment of the Head of Department of Public Health, Ezeakolam Nwaogwugwu as the Acting Rector of the college.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
