PSG: Why Messi Still Has To Adapt Despite 7 Ballon d’Or Awards- Mbappe| DETAILS
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward, Kylian Mbappe has revealed why his teammate Lionel Messi still has to adapt at PSG despite having seven Ballon d’Or awards.
The 34-year-old Messi made his Ligue 1 debut in 2021 after 20 years of milestone achievements in LaLiga team, Barcelona. Since his arrival at Parc de Princes in summer, the former catalan has had a slow start to life.
With the season almost half way over, the Argentine has only netted one league goal in 12 league games, making five assists- a state of affairs that has sparked wid reactions and raging questions.
Raising his voice in support for his teammate, the French International opined Messi is still adapting to his new club and is getting better. Mbappe added there are no doubts about Messi’s legendary sportsmanship.
Mbappe said;
“He’s a great player. I’m happy for him because we know he’s adjusting to a new life, a new city and a new club,”
And even when you win seven Ballon d’Or, you have to adapt too. But he is getting better and better, he is happy and I always said it in the first part of the season, if we have a great Messi, it’s better.
With him, it’s easy. I have always wanted to play with great players and great players are made to play with great players and we have a blast on the pitch. Personally, I really enjoy it.”
