Dr. Elelenta Nwabuisi Elele hails from Agbaragwu in Isiala Ngwa South LGA of Abia State.
He is an Engineering mathematician currently specialised in applying knowledge and skills in the verification, validation and accreditation (VV&A) of highly complex models and simulations.
Dr. Elele holds a BSc Chemical Engineering (1980), MSc Applied Mathematics (1985), and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Arizona (PhD).
He is a member of many Professional Associations, a leading expert in Risk-based Verification and Validation with over 25 publications in Journals and Conferences.
He is Experienced in organization leadership and management of people and processes geared towards producing tangible results.
He has over nine (9) years experience in the Department of the Navy M&S Verification, Validation and Accreditation Lead. He’s responsible for Leading and Advising the USA Department Of the Navy On Modeling and Simulation Verification, Validation & Accreditation (VV&A). Also setting the direction for Policy and promoting VV&A implementation guidance for the U.S. Navy in support of the visions of the U.S. DOD MS Executive & IBST Director.
He is a fellow of the distinguished Scientist and Engineers of the U.S. NAVY, NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVAIR). He was inducted on the 28th of August 2014 as a member of the distinguished Scientist and Engineers of the U.S. Navy’s NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVAIR).
Elele was Head of the Battlespace Modeling Verification and Validation (BMVVB), Battlespace Modeling & Simulation Division for over 25 years. He is experienced in the Management, designing and building simulations. He was also responsible for verifying, validating and serving as Verification, Validation and Accreditation Agent for Highly Complex System of Systems Simulations.
He was President and Chief Executive Officer, Ngwa National Association USA (NNAUSA) Inc.
Ngwa national Association, USA (NNAUSA) is an incorporated non-profit cultural and educational association made up of Ngwa immigrants across the United States and Canada.
He was an Adjunct Professor of Strayer University (Prince George’s County Campus, Suit Land MD). He taught Mathematics, Statistics, Access Database, Intro Computers, Network Design, Network Security and Windows.
He was also Adjunct Professor, Florida Institute of Technology (Lexington Park MD). He taught Discrete Mathematics, Formal Languages, Relational Database Design and Algorithm Theory.
He was also a ‘Process Development Engineer’ for GE Silicon, in-charge of CHEMET DEV PROGRAM. He Developed and built Fluidized Bed Reactor for de-acidification of Fumed Silica.
He was also a ‘Process Engineer’ at IBM. He Monitored process effluent and collected data required for EPA Certification.
He is currently the Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South Progressive Stakeholders of the Labour Party in Isiala Ngwa South LGA.
