President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media, Femi Adesina has described the alleged attempted attack on the president in Kebbi State today as false.
During the presidents visit to Kebbi State to declare open the Argungu Fishing and Cultural Festival, a man made attempts to reach the president.
The video of this attempt has gone viral with different interpretation following. But, in reaction, Adesina described the man as a young man who was so very excited to see his President so close.
“World over, such would not be allowed by security details. The young man was prevented, and he protested that he should be allowed to greet his President. Now, professional contortionists are making mischief of the event. They are passing the video clip off on social media as an attempt to attack the President”.
