The political battle between Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and the Honorable member representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency and Labour Party candidate for Isiala Ngwa North/South federal constituency, Honorable Ginger Onwusibe have changed gear as the honorable member has petitioned the governor to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Recall that ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER had reported that a petition was filed against Honorable Ginger Onwusibe by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu over an allegation of threat to life. CLICK TO READ FULL 

 

In the petition made available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER and put together by the solicitors of Honorable Ginger Onwusibe (NunaLexis Solicitors) , they alleged that Governor Ikpeazu have plans to incarcerate the honorable member and frustrate his bid to represent the people of his federal constituency.

 

In the petition which was addressed to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the solicitors revealed in detail what transpired when Honorable Ginger Onwusibe honoured the invitation of the police and how matters that did not form part of the petition by the governor was equally brought forward for the honorable member to respond to.

 

The solicitors referred to cases where they alleged that Governor Ikpeazu and his supporters punitively caused the incarceration of Abians and posited that the government of Abia State intend to apply same on Honorable Ginger Onwusibe.

They called on the president to direct the Nigeria Police to abide by their oath of office and to avoid being used as political tools.
