Police Grants Suspended Adamawa REC, Hudu Ari Bail | READ MORE
The embattled Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Adamawa State, Barrister Hudu Ari, who has been in the custody of the Nigeria Police Force, has been granted bail.
ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER had reported that Ari and others were arrested on Tuesday, May 2, by the Police Election Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Team in Abuja over alleged improper action during the April 15 governorship supplementary election in the state.
A statement signed on May 5, by CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer, stated that Ari was granted administrative bail.
The statement added that Ari is expected to report at the Police Headquarters every weekday while investigations are ongoing on the matter.
