Lady Sacked For Joining Peter Obi’s Rally, Gets Help From OPM
A lady identified as Regina Ledum Barizaasi, from Ogoni, Rivers state has received help after she went viral on getting sacked by her boss for joining the one million man match for Peter Obi, the Labour party presidential candidate in Port Harcourt.
According to Barizaasi, she had joined the rally as she was off duty at the hotel where she worked. Returning to work the following day, her boss sacked her, asking her to meet Peter Obi for a new job.
Barizaasi who is a student of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, worked at the hotel to help sponsor herself in school as her parents are poor farmers staying in the village.
Luck has now shined on her as the General Overseer,Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere offered her a job and scholarship.
The Apostle had offered her scholarship till graduation and also a job at the church’s water factory where she would earn N40,000 against the N20,000 she was earning at the hotel.
On a second thought, Chinyere changed her work department to the OPM ultramodern printing press where she would be earning N50,000 including the university scholarship.
