Gov. Ikpeazu Sacks College Of Health Rector, Names Replacement | READ DETAILS
The executive governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has sacked Professor Chigbu Lawrence from his position as the Rector, Abia College of Health Sciences and Management Technology Aba.
A statement released on Monday by Barrister Chris Ezem, Secretary to Abia State Government said the governor approved the immediate appointment of Dr. Nwamuo Alozie Kingsley as the acting rector of the Health College.
The statement read;
The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has approved the immediate suspension of the Rector, Abia College of Health Sciences and Management Technology Aba, Professor Chigbu Lawrence Nwaneri, and the appointment of Dr. Nwamuo Alozie Kingsley as the acting rector of the College.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
Recall that the governor had on Sunday evening approved the suspension of Professor Okorie Kalu Osonwa as the rector of the Abia State Polytechnic (Abia Poly) Aba. READ HERE
However, the state government did not make public the reason for the duo’s suspension.
