The Chief Executive Officer of Mainland Oil and Gas Company Company Limited Chief Chris Odinaka Igwe has felicitated with the governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Ikpeazu on the occasion of his six year anniversary as the executive governor of Abia State.
The Oil mogul in his goodwill message to the governments of Abia state under the leadership of Okezie Ikpeazu Ph.D adduced that the since May 29th 2015 when the governor was sworn in ,he has turned the state into a construction site. He said the road projects of the government scattered across the state and Aba in particular bears testament to the commitment of the government to better the lots of ndi-Abia by delivering to them dividends of democracy.
Chief Chris Igwe also stated that before the emergence of the Gov. Ikpeazu government six year ago, Aba was known as a hub for inferior and substandard products that people are not proud to be associated with .He stated however that today ,the narrative has changed ,Aba goods ,such as footwear’s and clothes are been sort after nationwide.
Chief Igwe opined that this wouldn’t have been possible without the efforts of the governor who ensured standardization of Aba made products .He did not only stop there,he has been the chief Ambassador of Aba products and he proudly brandishes these products,he said.
History, will be fair to Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu for his love for ndi-Abia and his genuine commitment to develop the state as well as provide enabling environment for businesses to thrive,he further stated.
The Umunneochi born businessman ,also admonished the governor not to be swayed by the ranting of his political detractors who do not mean well for the state, but are intimidated by the massive achievements of the governor within six year at the saddle of governance in the state.
