How Man Murdered His Brother In Bauchi | READ WHY
Operatives attached to Township Police Divisional headquarters in Bauchi State have arrested one Isyaku Babale (30) for allegedly stabbing his brother to death during an argument.
The incident was said to have happened on March 31, at the Anguwan Dawaki area of Bauchi metropolis.
Spokesperson of the Command, Mohammed Wakil, in a statement yesterday April 1st 2024 said, the suspect was apprehended near Kasuwan Shanu area following a manhunt launched by police operatives.
The statement added that the suspect used a knife to stab his biological elder brother after a disagreement over the use of ‘Sholi’ liquid, a drug substance, prompting a violent altercation between them.
Neighbours could also not resolve the matter as the suspect was said to have resorted to violence, stabbing his brother in the stomach.
It was gathered that there is an history of violence between the duo.
The statement added that detectives from the division were drafted to the scene and the victim was rushed to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) where he was certified dead.
