The member who represents Aba North and Aba South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Prestige Ossy, has condoled with the family of a commercial motorcyclist, Mr. Chimaobi Uzuokwa Nwogu, who was allegedly shot by a soldier of the Nigerian army at Ohanze Isiahia community, in Obingwa council area of Abia State on Wednesday.
The lawmaker described the incident as barbaric and unfortunate and said that he has already reached out to the security heads to find out the real cause of the alleged action by the soldier and promised to ensure that justice is served at last.
He also appealed for calm, and urged residents to look up to the government for justice as it will not be good for residents to take laws into their own hands.
