Gov. Ikpeazu Suspends Abia Poly Rector, Names Replacement | READ DETAILS
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state has suspended Professor Okorie Kalu Osonwa as the rector of the Abia State Polytechnic (Abia Poly) Aba.
His suspension was announced in a statement on March 12, 2023, signed by Barrister Chris Ezem, Secretary to the Abia State Government.
According to the statement, governor Ikpeazu approved the immediate appointment of Associate Professor, Haglar Okorie as the acting rector.
The statement read;
The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has approved the immediate suspension of the Rector of Abia State Polytechnic Aba, and the appointment of Associate Professor, Haglar Okorie as the acting rector.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
