The mother of a former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Azubuike Ihejirika (CFR) Rtd, Ezinne (Chief) Mrs. Nmerechi Nkennediya Ihejirika, of Ovim in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia state, has died.
Mrs Ihejirika, died on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
A statement released and signed by her son, Lt. Gen. O.A. Ihejirika Rtd, says burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
Left to mourn her are her children, grandchildren, great- grand children, in-laws, and host of other relatives.
