Apostle Chinyere Chibuzo leads a delegation of foreign investors to meet with Governor Alex Otti, pledging support for infrastructure, housing, and airport development in Abia State. The Governor welcomed the initiative, hailing it as a milestone in Abia’s economic revival.
In a remarkable step toward economic revitalization, Apostle Chibuzo Chinyere, General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM) and Traditional Ruler of Ohanko Ndoki Community in Ukwa East LGA, has led a team of foreign investors to meet with Governor Alex Otti of Abia State. This strategic gathering marks a significant push to attract international investments aimed at transforming key sectors within the state, including infrastructure, housing, and the development of an airport.
Following a closed-door session with Governor Otti, Apostle Chinyere spoke to the press, sharing details of his extensive travels to various countries to secure support for the Governor’s transformative vision for Abia. He expressed his gratitude for Governor Otti’s leadership, describing him as “God-sent” to lead Abia toward progress and prosperity.
“We give God the glory today. I thank God for bringing such a leader to rescue Abia State,” Apostle Chinyere remarked. “Because of my love for Abia, I reached out to investors in countries like Italy, the Netherlands, and Austria, and we’ve had a positive meeting with His Excellency,” he added, highlighting the Governor’s enthusiastic reception to the proposed investments.
The targeted investment areas include renewable energy, housing, infrastructure, and a state-of-the-art airport—a project intended to enhance Abia’s connectivity and economic opportunities. Apostle Chinyere’s visit underscores his commitment to delivering on the promises he made upon his coronation as traditional ruler, where he vowed to attract foreign direct investment to Abia State.
Dr. Sunny Offeghe, one of the investors accompanying Apostle Chinyere, emphasized that this initiative aligns with Chinyere’s broader vision of advancing Abia’s capital inflows and economic footprint. “On the day of his coronation, His Royal Majesty (Apostle Chinyere) committed to attracting foreign investments to his community and the state. Today, he presented the results of his efforts to the Governor, whose support and vision have laid a strong foundation for economic progress.”
Dr. Offeghe noted that with the ongoing efforts, Abia’s future foreign direct investment results could far exceed the $85 million reported last year by the National Bureau of Statistics. He praised Governor Otti as a visionary leader, urging Abians to align with his developmental goals for the state.
With Apostle Chinyere’s initiative, Abia State stands poised to harness new opportunities that promise to deliver widespread benefits for its people, bringing Abia closer to achieving its potential as an economic powerhouse.
