Information reaching AFNews has it that the convey of Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu wife of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State foiled a robbery incident and gunned down one of the robbers.
Based on PUOREPORTS, the armed Robbers were operating with a Power bike just before the army check point while coming from Umuahia, they had already succeeded in dispossessing motorists their belongings before the arrival of the convoy of the Wife of the Abia State Governor.
It was gathered that the Security details attached to the wife of the Abia State Governor on arrival at the scene engaged the armed robbers in a gun battle and succeeded in killing one of the criminals while others escaped with injuries.
The governors wife was on her way to Ebonyi state for governors wife summit before the incident happened.
