The lawmaker representing Aba North/South Federal Constituency in the House of representatives, Hon. Ossy Prestige has promised to ensure cooperation among various ethnic groups in the country.
The Federal lawmaker who gave the promise when Executives of Hausa/Yoruba Progressives Movement Association, Aba paid him a courtesy visit, hinted that one of his lawmaking efforts is to see that Nigerians irrespective of background, leave as one family.
Hon. Prestige further stated that for long, Hausa/Yoruba groups residing in Aba and Abia State have been living in peace and harmony with their host people and urged them never to relent.
Speaking at the occasion, the Coordinators of Hausa group Mallam Yahaya Billy and the Yoruba Mr. Kazeem Oladimeji explained that they came to commend ebullient and performing lawmaker on the way he masterly handled the recent election and the court cases that follows.
The Movement while pouring praises on the lawmaker, pledged their unalloyed support to him at all times, stating that they will join hands with members of his constituency to develop Aba.
They further stated that with what Hon. Prestige has been doing in his constituency in terms of development, it has further demonstrated his love for humanity and prayed God to be with him at all times.
