A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Honorable Kingsley Megwara, have advised the incoming governor of Abia state, to focus on social services, infrastructural upliftment among other things.

Megwara while featuring on ‘Focal Point’ Programme on Saturday, pointed that ‘Abia is at the bottom of the ladder’ and have not been able to measure up with sister states.

He noted that Abia is in a mess with a terrible infrastructural decay and as such needs a governor who can clean up and make the state better come 2023.

The Chieftain advised the next governor to ensure that Abians are being taken care of and pay salaries as at when due.

“the health care system in Abia state is not at par at all; we don’t have one credible hospital facility in this state, that meet any standard.

“the next governor has to be prudent, you have to also have he right people around you. The days when ‘boys’ advise a governor should be over; men should be advising him” Megwara advised.
