Barrister Cletus Chika Uhuaba, has declared his intention to run for the Isialangwa South All Progressives Congress (APC), Chairmanship.
Barrister Uhuaba is a native of Umuejije in Amaitolu Ovungwu, OvOv Bloc,Nvosi Constituency in lsialangwa South Local Government Area of Abia State.
Uhuaba made his intention known on Monday, June 28, in a meeting held with the people of Ovungwu Ward 8 and others.
Speaking at the gathering, barrister Uhuaba said that the APC ‘is presently doing all within her power to set up a formidable executive that will strengthen the party’ adding that the core interest of the Leaders and stakeholders of the party borders on integrity, competence and capacity.
The Ward chairman of the party, Elder Best Erondu lauded Uhuaba for his courage and boldness to declare for the position and called for responses from the people of Ovungwu .
In their different remark, Chief Wokocha (who spoke on behalf of the men); Mrs Rita Osuagwu (who spoke on behalf of the women); Mr Chima Otagburuagu (who spoke on behalf of nde Umuejije), and the youths, pledged support to the aspiration of Barrister C C Uhuaba.
According to Uhuaba, he will soon declare same intention to the people of lsialangwa South APC having gotten the endorsement of his kinsmen.
Barrister CC Uhuaba studied Law in the University of Calabar, proceeded to the Nigerian Law school in 1999, and was called to bar in 2001.
He is the Principal Solicitor at the law firm of C C Uhuaba and co.
He was a one time National President of Ikpeghiebeghi Nationalist Movement, a strong member of Ngwa country club .
He was a one time Abia State Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), and the current Local Government Area legal Adviser of Isialangwa South APC.
