Chima Desmond Anyaso, founder, Ofuji Movement and the CEO, Chima Anyaso Foundation, on Wednesday, December 8, received Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, the member representing Isialangwa north state constituency in the Abia state house of assembly .
The grand reception held at the Ahuoma Villa Igbere in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
Giving his speech at the event, Ofuji described Ginger as a strong, resourceful and reliable Abia son, adding that Ginger’s visit stresses the shift in the political sphere of the state.
“Today is not a day of politics. We have only come to exchange fellowship and collaboration as men of light. I believe that these two lights shining today in Abia- in Isialangwa, in Bende, will be extended to other zones and local governments in Abia because together we are going to achieve great success.
“I say a very big thank you to my brother Hon. Ginger Onwusibe for extending a hand of fellowship to us.
“Our vision align and therefore our collaboration stems from that same vision and will definitely lead to the ultimate achievement of it.”
He added that;
“We are no longer going to be interested in those people that feel entitled. Like I said I am not indebted to anybody.
“Today I am happy to announce to all of you here in Bende that the Ofuji movement have agreed to join forces with our brothers across the other zone. The Ofuji movement today, because we have a lot of similarities our vision and our mission from all indications has aligned with the Otawaike movement and this is starting the largest political movement in Abia state”.
Recalling the past 2019 election, Anyaso said;
“It is a new dawn for us. The days have gone when mischief was condoned. We are more committed, determined and resolute to achieve success as far as project Bende and Abia state is concerned. It is no longer business as usual. Chima Anyaso Foundation and all our affiliates have resolved to work with serious minded, resourceful individuals who are zealous and committed to achieve success.”
He said the alignment will ensure that the youths, and women are carried along.
On his own part, Hon. Ginger said he was attracted to Chima Anyaso because of his kind gestures and outreach to the people without him having any political affiliation nor interest.
He lauded him for providing a free and modern educational institution for the people among other things he is doing adding, that there is no other better empowerment than education and health.
“My brother I want to tell you, you may have contested election and lost, but let me reassure you that what you lost at the round about, you will get it at the bending corner.
All you need to do is to restrategize and look at those areas that you didn’t get right at the lady time and make corrections.
“Don’t be afraid of any political gimmicks. Those things are seen by this time of every political period, there is always alignment and realignment and that is the reason we have come to visit you so that we can align. You may be thinking that you want to serve Bende people while God wants you to serve more than Bende people.”
Speaking to newsmen on how he plans to achieve a youth political alliance even with the ‘old order’ still in place, Onwusibe said;
“The old order depends on the youths to actualize whatever they want. The youths have a different thinking now. They feel that younger generation should be injected into the polity because they have energy, they are current with the trends of things, they are more creative and they are more selfless.”
He assured that the alliance will give birth to a political regeneration come 2023 adding that the reward system will be unimaginable leading to job opportunity creation, youth empowerment and a reformed education system.
Earlier at the palace of HRH Eze Joseph Anyanta, Ezeji 1 of Ibinaukwu Igbere, Onwusibe while explaining his motive of visiting said;
“I want to partner with his group. We have a group in our place called otawike and he has his own group here. Our groups has the same ideologies of developing and creating wealth. Empowering the youths and women”.
We want to seek for partnership with him and his group so that while he is working here, we will be working from where we are coming from”.
