The Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Chinedum Orji, his Deputy Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu, Member representing Bende North State Constituency Hon. Chijioke Chukwu and Dr. Mike Ukoha were among those who visited Mater Dei Cathedral in Umuahia recently, on the occasion of their Harvest and Bazaar.
Speaking at the Church service, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji lauded the Church for being upright and steadfast in upholding the tenets of Jesus Christ, hinting that their prayers before, during and after the just concluded general election in Nigeria really help them to emerge victorious and urged them not to relent.
The Speaker further urged them to continue to put the lawmakers in their daily prayers as their burden of governance is enormous, adding that one with God is majority.
Contributing, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu, Hon. Chijioke Chukwu and Dr. Mike Ukoha charged the Church to continue in their daily interventions through prayers, pointing out that their prayers have helped to addressed some of the Political issues being faced in the Country, and promised that they will support at all times in order to keep the gospel afloat.
