Abia Born Philanthropist, Okwun Ojah Launches N5M Scholarship Scheme For Students | READ HOW TO APPLY
To commemorate his birthday, Dr. Barrister Okwun Ojah (Okeosisi 1 of Ndi Umuozio), an Australian based Philanthropist from Ohafia Community in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, has set up a N5million scholarship scheme for medicine and surgery students.
The scholarship which is funded by the philanthropist’s foundation, ‘Ojah family foundation’, is strictly for students studying medicine and surgery in Nigerian universities.
The scholarship will accommodate struggling undergraduates from year one to final year.
Application is open from May 11 to August 10th 2024.
Eligibility criteria includes;
– applicants must have gained admission into a recognised Nigerian tertiary institution to study medicine and surgery.
– must provide two academic references.
– must be Ohafia indigenes.
