2023: Bishop Emeka Nwankpa Will Salvage Abia – AP Aba North State Const. Candidate
Ahead of the 2023 elections, the governorship candidate of Accord Party (AP) in Abia state, Bishop Emeka Nwankpa, has been described as the man who can salvage the state from years of bad leadership.
Speaking with ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER on Thursday, Dr Lucky Ikezuo James, Accord Party candidate for Aba North state constituency, stated that Bishop Nwankpa, who he described as a righteous man, has all it takes to be the governor of the state come 2023.
According to Dr James, Nwankpa who has engaged in philanthropy; helping the widows, empowering youths, giving scholarship to students, among others, from his personal resources, would perform better for Abians if elected as governor come 2023.
“A man who has been doing these for the past 17 years without any allowance from the government; he has not tasted government’s money; he uses his own hard earned money to do it, if you give such a man a chance to rule Abia state, he will make Abia a better place. He has all it takes to rule Abia state” James added.
He noted that the set backs in the state is because a righteous man has not come into power adding that; “let the cleric be there and salvage Abia”.
Speaking on his ambition to represent the people of Aba north come 2023 at the Abia State House of Assembly, Dr Lucky Ikezuo James, said the suffering of his people motivated him to contest. He lamented the bad state of roads in that area which ha cut so many lives short, noting that the past and present Representatives have not harped on the need to fix the road to the executive arm.
“it is the duty of a house member to complain and lay emphasis on the state of the roads then the government of Abia state will lay compliant to the federal government for the roads to be fixed” he stated.
He assured his constituents that if elected, he would not take their mandate for granted.
