Speaking on the challenges facing the party, Ceekay Igara, who doubles as the Chairman, Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Abia state listed; management of diverse interest, and influx of people with different motive.

“the influx of people; you’ll create space, if you are not careful, you’ll see moles around you; people who will sabotage your efforts. When you have this massive movement, you’ll receive massive characters and these massive characters will also bring massive troubles within the party and that is what needs the competence and experience of the managers of this party right now to manage” Igara added.

He revealed that the party has launched a conflict resolution mechanism to manage its seeming challenges.

On why much people are following the Peter Obi movement, the LP chairman attributed it to character, disenchantment with the system, simplicity and opportunity to follow somebody who has principles.

Igara noted that Dr. Alex Otti, the Labour Party guber candidate in Abia, “has demonstrated the will to make sure that Abia is delivered”.
