Family of Late Iniubong Reacts To Judgment On Sister’s Death |Watch Video
Family of Late Iniubong Umoren has reacted to the judgment of their late sister, Iniubong Umoren, a graduate of Philosophy, University of Uyo who was gruesomely raped and murdered by Uduak Frank Akpan in Uyo on job hunting.
The elder brother of late Umoren, Mr. Ukeme Umoren who spoke to BBC News Pidgin in Uyo after Uduak Akpan was convicted and sentenced to die by hanging.
His word; “I didn’t believe that common people like us can still have Justice. We lost hope and thought that maybe ‘mago-mago’ would be brought into the case. All of us are happy because he can’t just kill my sister, try to cover it up and go scot free. I am happy that my sister has gotten Justice and she will have peace wherever she is.”
