Popular Evangelist, the Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai will this week, storm Umuahia with his evangelist team.
The fiery gospel preacher is among the cream of Ministers to feature at the Glory Convention cum seventh anniversary celebration of the Umuahia Central (Jerusalem) District slated for Thursday July 15 to Saturday July 17.
A joint press release by the Chairman and Secretary of the Central Planning Committee, the Rev. Ndubuisi Ogbonna, and Deacon Steve Oko, respectively, put the venue of the convention at the Assemblies of God 5-8 Item Street, near Isi-Gate Umuahia.
According to the release, the Rev. Amos Atindiga from Port Harcourt as well as a popular gospel artiste, Benjamin Cornelius are also expected to feature at the three-day event scheduled for 10 am to 3:00 pm daily.
The release further said that there would be free transportation for participants from Bende and Ikwuano zones.
District Superintendent, the Rev. Dr. Henry Emelike , and the presbytery of the District, according to the release are hosting the event.
Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu; his Deputy Sir Ude Oko Chukwu as well as the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji are part of special dignitaries expected at the grand finale of the event on Saturday.
The release urged residents of Umuahia and its environs to troop out enmass and participate at the programme, assuring that adequate security and other arrangements have been put in place.
According to the release the programme will be streamed live via the official Facebook page of Umuahia Central Jerusalem District, Abia Facts Online , and simultaneously on Instagram, yu-tube and other social media platforms.
