No fewer than two persons have been reported dead in a clash between Urhobo and Hausa communities in Igbudu, Warri south local government area of Delta State.Trouble started when a Chief Priest, allegedly impregnated a Hausa girl in the popular Hausa Market in Warri.
Irked by the act of the native doctor, her kinsmen took to jungle justice and reportedly murdered the Chief Priest. AFNEWS gathered that the Chief Priest was allegedly hung till he gave up the ghost.
In a retaliatory move, it was learnt that the Urhobo community attacked the Hausa community and killed one.It was gathered that the Hausa Indigenes then put a call across to the military for protection.Buyers and sellers said there is heavy military presence in the market as people buy and sell under tension as at the time of filing this report.
