WATCH VIDEO: Some Abia Civil Servants Protest Salary Payment Hitches, Call For Immediate Action

 

Some Abia State Civil Servants from different ministries, agencies and departments of government, protested at the premises of Flo FM Radio in Umuahia over hitches and delay of their salary payment today.

 

While speaking to the press during their protest, they revealed that some of them have been owed 4 months, 3 months and some 2 months salary arrears.

 

They posited that aides of the governor should be blamed as they believe that the governor has given them the mandate and every necessary tool to pay their salaries.

They called on the government led by Governor Alex Chioma Otti to look into their predicament and finding a lasting solution.
