Recent photos of Korede Taiwo, a 9-year-old boy
who was chained for a month and allowed to starve by his stepmother and father, has surfaced the internet.
Recall that Korede was rescued and adopted by Mrs Funsho Amosun.
His father, who claims to be a pastor had said the child needed deliverance because he normally stole Eba and soup.
A a tip-off from church members, which prompted NSCDC’s rescue operation on July 22, 2016 led to the rescue of Korede.
As at the time of rescue, he was not only frail, he was malnourished and smaller than a child of his age.
