Our Account Was Not Frozen, Allow Us Concentrate On Our Core Mandates – ABSU To Propagandists
The management of the Abia state University Uturu (ABSU), has refuted rumours that its Account has been frozen by Abia State Government.
In a statement released on Tuesday and signed by the Registrar, ABSU, Dr Acho Elendu, the institution noted that the speculation that it’s account is frozen, is the imagination of propagandists and mischief makers who are bent on tarnishing the image of the institution of learning.
The statement further called on the public to disregard such rumours and also asked the propagandists to allow the institution carry out it’s core mandate of teaching, research and community service.
ABSU management also called on all Abians to support the government of Dr Alex Otti whom they described as “an experienced technocrat and cerebral administrator” to deliver on their mandate.
“Let us help to build, not destroy our own university, the pride of Abia State” the statement added.
