In the just concluded 2020 / 2021 FIFA physical fitness test for Listing of International Referees from 3rd — 5th November 2020 at the National Stadium Abuja.

Mfon Akpan, who is the only FIFA female ranking referee in Akwa Ibom State, having been celebrated and awarded with different accolades during her Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) and Nigeria Natinal League ( NNL) as the Best Female Referee NWPL 2018 and 2019 and Best Home and Away Referee scaled through in the FIFA physical fitness test successful
Mfon Akpan who has been zealous to her contribution to promoting the sporting industry in Akwa Ibom state deserved the recognition.
