A student of Adekunle Ajasi University was confirmed dead as a result of a Laser fever on the 5th day of March 2020.

Miss Temitope Patience Ayedun, a 200 level student of the department of Educational Management was admitted into the university’s health centre where she was cared for before she died.

The university management was shocked as a result of her death while many feared the disease could engulf the institution.

Meanwhile, another loss of a 300 level student of the department of Biochemistry was also recorded.

The death of the late Mr. Olakunle Matthew Olayinka was a result of wounds sustained via gunshots.

The victim was rushed to the health centre after which the health personnel tried to save him but to no avail.

The school management after sending condolence message to the family of the deceased, decided to investigate the issue as to identify the gunmen involved.

Students were also urged to remain focus on their primary assignment in the institution.
