Lagos Police Reacts To Officer Alleged To Be A Robbery Gang Informant | DETAILS
The Lagos state Police command, has reacted to allegations that one of its officials is an informant to a robbery gang known as ‘crack squad.
One Chidinma Madukwe, 32, arrested for drug deal, alleged that a policeman at Area ‘E’, Festac Town, whom she reported the gang’s intimidation to, turned against her, informing ‘Hefty’ leader of the gang. READ HERE
Reacting to the allegation, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos state command PRO, in a statement stated that the state Commissioner of police has ordered for an investigation to identify the rogue officer in question.

The attention of the Lagos State Police Command has been drawn to the above titled publication in Vanguard Newspaper of March 19, 2022.
The Command wishes to inform the general public that upon receipt of the information, the Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, fdc, mnim, psc ordered the immediate identification and arrest of the rogue police officer.
The CP has vowed that any police officer found undermining the tireless efforts of the Command to rid Lagos State of crime and criminality would be appropriately sanctioned.
Meanwhile, CP Alabi has assured Lagos residents that their safety and security remains paramount to the Command and as such, no stone will be left unturned to ensure same.
