The Labour Congress, has stepped down on its proposed strike over the removal of fuel subsidy and the skyrocketed cost of livelihood.
The suspension of the planned strike was disclosed by the President of Trade Union Congress (TUC), Festus Osifo during an interview with Arise News on Thursday morning.
According to Osifo, the decision to suspend the strike was reached after the leaders o f the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and TUC met with president Bola Tinubu.
The Labour Congress had embarked on a nationwide protest on Wednesday, August 2, to drive home their grievances.
