The State Focal Person for Social Investment Programme in Abia State, Chinenye Nwaogu has raised alarm of what he called exploitation of NPOWER applicants by some individuals and organization with the promise of helping them secure placement.

In the public notice that was posted on social media, he revealed that the selection of beneficiaries is based on equal opportunity and open selection method that attracts no cost to applicants.

He likewise warned that they are working closely with security agencies to nip in the bud any unwholesome activity by the unscrupulous elements that intend to exploit NPOWER applicants.

It has come to the notice of the Social Investment Programme Office that some individuals and organisations are bent on exploiting N Power applicants under different guises of helping them secure a slot.

We are working closely with security agencies to nip in the bud any unwholesome activity by these unscrupulous elements.
