The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), in the early hours of Friday, November 19, attacked Damboa Local Government Area of Borno state.
PUNCH reports that the ISWAP terrorists invaded the community at about 5:30am and are currently setting houses and properties on fire.
However, no human casualty has been recorded as at the time of this report.
Recall that on Saturday, November 13, troops of the Nigerian Army engaged ISWAP in a fierce battle in Askira Uba LGA of the state which resulted to the death of Brigadier General Dzarma Zirkishu and three others.
The army had gone on a revenge mission after the attack , killing over 50 ISWAP Members.
The current attack in Damboa LGA, is the 3rd attack the area is recording in a month.
